Waiwera Thermal Resort is proud to introduce Chef Eru.

The Native Chef will prepare modern westernised food with a twist of Maori cuisine. A range of dishes are available, featuring traditional hangi flavours and native herbs, which are used in all recipes - such as the Beef Schnitzel with Horopito Beetroot Relish, Satay Sauce and Kawakawa Aioli.



Waiwera spent three eventful days at the Taste of New Zealand festival last week.

The Waiwera Chefs Table was a success, with hundreds of attendees coming to watch guest chefs such as Annabel Langbein and Josh Emmet use their culinary skills in front of the crowd.

Chef Eru brought some talent to the Waiwera Stand - we had an amazing time and enjoyed meeting everyone who made it along!
